As you are
aware, this course is compulsory for all newly qualified solicitors
within the first 3 years of qualification. In addition, it may also be
useful for more senior lawyers and other fee earners to assist towards
satisfying the supervision skills requirements of today’s legal
industry and for Code of Conduct Rule 5. The 7 CPD points earned on this course count towards the 12
hours Supervisory/Management requirement stipulated by the Solicitor’s
Regulation Authority.
The course
is a mixture of short presentations and interactive workshops delivered
by two leading speakers. Delegate numbers are strictly limited,
thus providing an effective environment for group work to enable all
delegates to contribute. The course will address the basic principles
involved in managing client relationships, managing information,
managing people, managing the firm and managing finance. It covers all
compulsory topics stipulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s
compulsory Management Course Stage 1, and will encompass some of the
many and varied management techniques required to be able to practice
effectively. |
